FLOOD!
Driving down the road one day, I spotted a Fiberglas fish pond in the trash!
Well, who would throw away a beautiful plastic pond?
Someone who didn't like messing with the fish? Chemicals? Leaks?
I brought it home, coated it with rubber sealer, dug a huge hole in Black Clay! lined it with sand, Dropped it in, filled it and put in a pump and filter.
Later after it had stabilized, I went to get some Coy fish, but man, are they expensive. Little ones were $8ea. Big ones go up to a couple hundred Bux.
Well a few weeks later, I stopped at a bait store to get some Minnows to fish with and he had Goldfish for bait! $4 a lb. about 30 small 2" Goldfish! I got a pound and dumped them in. After a few weeks. I was down to about 20 and they are all still alive and about 4-5" long now. White Albinos, Dark Reds, Mixed Red and White. One is White with red around his eyes. After 2 years they are over 7 inches long nose to tail!
